Paignton and Torbay

Paignton is a seaside town located in the centre of Torbay and gateway to the English Riviera. It is ideally placed to access Torquay and Brixham, either by car or public transport or by simply walking along the coastal path. Torre Abbey and Gardens

A story of catholicism 800 years in the making. Since its foundation in 1196 Torre Abbey has witnessed some of the epic moments of history and is the largest surviving medieval monastery in South Devon. You will also find tombs of monks in the grounds, the ruins of the original church, a palm house and perfectly manicured flower beds. It also hosts sculpture exhibitions from local and visiting artists.

Agatha Christie and Greenway House

This house which was the holiday home of Agatha Christie, the best selling novelist of all time, is full of her first editions and the various collections that the family made. The location is stunning, overlooking the beautiful River Dart.

This childrens play park is designed around the English Riviera’s geological history. It is divided into 4 areas - each area is designed for different age groups and play experiences with over thirty pieces of high quality play equipment a number of which have been specially commissioned for the park.
